The void around me,
a heavy cloak,
suffocating me.
The darkness around me,
it's confining me.
much better than walls ever could.
I can't move on,
I can't stay still.
I'll never flee the room.
The darkness it's inside me,
my only enemy.
Someday someone will be
the light needed to save me.

I find the title to be rather redundant. Most darkness is black, so the added adjective is unneeded.
